Hairstyles of the not so rich or famous

What do you do when your kids really need a haircut?

(April 2008)

Well, you could take them to a professional hair stylist...

Or, you could save some money and do it yourself at home!

(March 2007)

When you do it yourself, you can end up with the hairstyle you want...

Yes, we actually did take our children out in public like this. But what good is it being a boy if you can't have a mohawk every now & then? And what better place to go looking like this than the zoo? Plus, we found it pretty hilarious when we met up with our cousins there and saw that they were sporting a unique hairstyle of their own. (Cousin Anna had a date with Grandpa that night-curlers were mandatory!) You can imagine the looks we got.
Don't worry, by church time the next day, everyone looked more like this...plus a couple of shirts!

I LOVE IT! The mohawks are awesome! Your boys wear them well! I bet your mom got a kick out of this! She always had a great sense of humor when it came to kids and their antics!

I love it! Being silly is one of the things I most look forward to when I have kids and I think this is as silly as it gets. I'll have to remember it!

Was so nice, letting the boys cut their own hair. And so much more mature than using just a pair of scissors! Love it!

All 3 cute kids ...glad you stopped with the boys though:)
'tis the season- James earned a quarter Friday (and I saved $9.75) by letting me do the same thing to him, however he opted for a full buzz- so as not to be called Mo at school in the afternoon;).

You should have kept the first do! I finally bought some clippers too...but H will never look as hip as your boys!! (next time you have to get Andrew in on the 'hawk action!)
